IIFA 2024 winners full list: Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji shine, Animal takes home five awards

The IIFA Awards 2024 held in Abu Dhabi marked the second day by honouring the finest in Hindi films showcasing remarkable acting and achievements in filmmaking.

Shah Rukh Khan shone brightly at the event bagging the Best Actor accolade for his acclaimed portrayal in Jawan. Rani Mukerji too made headlines securing the Best Actress title for her performance in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Ranbir Kapoor’s highly talked about movie Animal took the spotlight at the event receiving multiple awards such as Best Film Best Supporting Actor for Anil Kapoor and Best Actor in a Negative Role for Bobby Deol. The film also won honours for Best Music and Best Lyrics with Bhupinder Babbal being recognized as Best Male Singer for his track Arjan Vailly.

During his heartfelt acceptance speech Shah Rukh Khan conveyed his appreciation to the other nominees recognizing their outstanding performances. The celebrations kicked off with the IIFA Utsavam on the first day recognising the best talents in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mani Ratnam were among the notable recipients. This three day event will wrap up on September 29 with IIFA Rocks showcasing performances by renowned artists like Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao and the musical trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
