Saif Ali Khan is enjoying love and appreciation for his villainous role in Devara Part 1. The actor who has 4 children from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Singh shared his opinion on their choice of career. White Sara Ali Khan has already become an actor and Ibrahim Ali Khan is gearing up for his debut film, Saif doesn't want his young kids Taimur and Jehangir to take any pressure. He believes in carrying the family legacy but in terms of being a good and successful person not necessarily following in his or mother’s footsteps to be an actor.
In an interview with India Today, Saif Ali Khan expressed his thoughts of his children’s career. He said, “Carrying the family legacy forward, in terms of being a good person, or a successful person, or someone who has served the country well is different to being a movie star. There’s no pressure on them to become an actor, even though I think it’s a great job."
He further added, "Two of the elder kids are already actors, or want to be… Tim, at one point, said that he can’t bear the thought of getting up in front of people and saying lines, I would be petrified! I said that I completely understand. But now he tells me he’s looking forward to his school play. The youngest one is a born performer, if you ever see him, and I know where that comes from. So, there’s no pressure. It’s a great job. But, for me, they could be school teachers… As long as you’re happy.”
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan made his Telugu debut with Devara: Part 1 playing a villain opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The action thriller released on September 27 also stars Janhvi Kapoor.
Talking about his kids, Sara Ali Khan is underway filming for Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino. Ibrahim Ali Khan stepped into films as an assistant director in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He is now looking forward to his acting debut in Sarzameen alongside Kajol.
