Kriti Sanon built high anticipation for her maiden produced venture Do Patti. Ever since the project was announced fans were excited and have been waiting for new updates. Netflix teased the audience with a short video as a teaser and announced the release date. The film stars Kriti Sanon and Kajol in leading roles promising female-driven content. The murder mystery thriller will exclusively stream on Netflix on October 25.

In Do Patti, Kriti Sanon plays a double role alongside Kajol marking their second collaboration after Dilwale. Kriti portrays a murder aspect while Kajol plays a cop character. The film guarantees an engrossing narrative blended with suspense and conspiracy. The story is about twin sisters with dark secrets and a determined police officer on a quest to reveal the truth in an attempted murder case. Set amidst the foggy hills of the fictional town of Devipur in Uttarakhand, the case unfolds amid a tangle of half-truths and lies, where love, betrayal, and revenge generate a whirlwind of intrigue, deception, and drama

Kriti Sanon dropped the announcement video on social media increasing the excitement. The caption read, ''Ab hoga khel shuru, lekin iss kahaani ke hai do pehlu 'Do Patti' releases on 25 October, only on Netflix. #DoPattiOnNetflix." 

The 1-minute 32 seconds long announcement video offers a tension-filled plot set for the murder mystery thriller. The teaser features filmed in a cafe features Kajol investigating Kriti Sanon. She later cryptically tells secrets that will unfold on October 25 and then the camera pans to Kriti’s other character.  

Kriti Sanon skipped the theatrical release of her first movie as a producer and made a striking deal with streaming giant Netflix. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi Do Patti is co-produced by Kriti Sanon under her production company Blue Butterfly Films and Kanika Dhillon. The mystery thriller film will be released digitally on October 25.
