Actor Rajinikanth hospitalised following severe stomach pain: Undergoing elective procedure

Veteran Bollywood and south actor Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Greams Road Hospital in Chennai on Monday night. Chennai Police has given information in this regard. According to some reports, he was brought to the hospital due to severe stomach pain, while other reports say that it is part of a pre-scheduled medical procedure ('elective procedure').

According to hospital sources, Rajinikanth was admitted to a hospital in Chennai on the night of September 30, 2024, after experiencing severe stomach pain. He is undergoing an elective procedure to address an enlarged blood vessel near his abdomen. His condition is reported to be stable, and there is no immediate cause for concern. The procedure is being closely monitored by a team of doctors, and he is expected to recover soon.

76-year-old Rajinikanth is currently busy with his two films, "Vettaiyaan" and "Coolie". "Vettaiyaan" is directed by Gnanavel Raja, and the film is scheduled to release on October 10. At the same time, Lokesh Kanagaraj's "Coolie" is also creating a lot of excitement among his fans. Recently, Rajinikanth returned to Chennai a few days ago, and his fans are eagerly waiting for the release of his films.

Rajinikanth's health has been in the news for quite some time now. A decade ago, he underwent a kidney transplant in Singapore, after which fans are worried about his health. Recently, citing health reasons, he also decided to end his activism in politics, which has caused even more disappointment among his fans.
