The motion poster of the much-awaited film "Banda Singh Chaudhary" starring actors Arshad Warsi and Meher Vij was launched recently, and now its trailer has been released on 1 October 2024. The trailer of this film was launched at a multiplex in the Andheri area of Mumbai, which depicts the story after the 1971 Indo-Pak war. A new battle is emerging in war-torn India, challenging the fabric of communal harmony in the country.
Punjab has become the epicentre of rising communal tension, with Hindu and Sikh communities clashing. The film shows the story of fragmented communities searching for unity amid chaos. Arshad Warsi, who plays a common man in the film, said, "This film deeply reflects the raw emotions of people who were pushed into a storm of violence and fear. My character is someone who reiterates that even in the worst of times, the human spirit has the courage to rise above it all". He said that his character in the film is based on unwavering human resilience and spirit in dark times.
The communal riots that devastated families and displaced thousands found their human voice in this film. Actress Meher Vij, who plays a woman grappling with unimaginable loss, shared, "This story is personal. It's about finding hope and love when everything else falls apart. It's about standing strong when the world falls apart around you".Producer Arbaaz Khan said, "'Banda Singh Chaudhary' is not just a story of struggle, it depicts the strength of a nation that refuses to be broken by divisive forces. It is powerful, emotional and absolutely necessary for our times.
Arbaaz Khan Productions presents "Banda Singh Chaudhary" in association with Simless Productions LLP and Aks Movies & Entertainment. The film is produced by Arbaaz Khan and Manish Mishra. The film is set to release in cinemas on October 25.
