Triptii Dimri is grabbing headlines for all the work reasons. She recently shared her experience of working with co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao while working with them on Bad Newz and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video respectively. She admitted feeling nervous around her accomplished co-stars. She recently revealed not talked to Vicky Kaushal for 3 days, it took her a while to get comfortable and was in awe of his dance moves. She also applauded Rajkummar Rao for his commendable take on challenging scenes. 

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Triptii recollected her working experience with Vicky and Rajkummar. She said, I would see a Vicky Kaushal and a Rajkummar Rao killing it. They would read the lines and make them into something so beautiful… There are films where you have to be on set and improvise… With comedy, you have to be awake all the time. With drama, you can take your time… I find it more difficult. But now I’ve found my peace there also. Earlier, with Vicky, I was so nervous. For three days, I was (frozen). We shot the song first. I didn’t even interact with Vicky properly because I was so nervous looking at him perform. It took me 5-10 days to get used to the crew, the scale of the film, the director.”

She went on to add, “Archana Puran Singh, such brilliant actors, you’re like, ‘How are they doing it?’ We would perform, and there would be crew members and background artists who would just laugh. Rajkummar can finish a two-page monologue in one go, without messing up the lines. There’s so much to learn, every day.”

She highlighted that some films require on-set improvisation and stressed that comedy in particular requires actors to remain constantly alert while drama provides more time to process emotions. “I don’t want to ever get to a point where I don’t like acting. I want to go to a set and enjoy the process. Drama is something I’ve really enjoyed doing, but then comedy happened, and every day on set, I was like, ‘I don’t know acting, I’m back to square one’.”

The actress is enjoying the best phase of her career with Animal released in late 2023 she signed multiple projects. Right now she is gearing up for the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video after Bad Newz released in July and Bhool Bhuulaiyaa 3 is locked for the November release.
