Shatrughan Sinha rubbishes conspiracy theory about Govinda’s accident, “There are no ifs and buts”

Govinda was admitted to the hospital after he accidentally fired his licensed revolver and injured his knees. Fans of the celebrated actor were in shock waking up to the news. This spread like wildfire and it came to light that this was a planned conspiracy. Reports were rife that a part of the lock of his gun was broken which led to the accident. Shatrugan Sinha, who paid a visit to the actor in hospital, reacted to conspiracy theories.

The 60-year-old actor was cleaning his gun before leaving for Kolkata when he misfired himself. The accident took place early in the morning at 5:15 am on October 1, 2024. Reportedly, there were 6 bullets in the gun out of which one was accidentally shot into his knee. He was immediately rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai. Police took charge to investigate the incident and took the gun into custody. The incident happened because a small part of his revolver was broken. It is claimed that this was not an accident but an intended plot. 

Shatrughan Sinha visited Govinda in the hospital and gave his health update. After meeting the Hero No. 1 actor, Sinha spoke to media and cleared buzz about this incident being planned one. He said, “He is stable, his condition is good...It was an accident. There are no ifs and buts in accidents...He received treatment.”

Earlier, Govinda’s estranged nephew Krushna Abhishek confirmed Govinda is safe sharing a health update. He took to his Instagram stories and wrote, Mama is feeling better now. Thank you for all your prayers and love. He further wished for his speedy recovery and urged to pray for the same. His wife Kashmera visited Govinda while Abhishek is reportedly in Australia. 

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also reached out to the his Shiv Sena Party leader Govinda through a phone call to inquire about his health.
