Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Reena Dutta’s father passed away on October 2. The actor visited Reena’s residence to pay last respects to his late father-in-law. He was spotted arriving at her house to offer condolence. Later his mother Zeenat Hussain also visited to solace the grieving. Reena reportedly lived in the same building as Aamir. 

Film producer Reena Dutta lost her father this morning but the reason behind the death remains unknown. Aamir Khan was papped arriving at his ex-wife’s home. Both have two children from their marriage Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. While her ex-husband along with his mother came, their were missing. Junaid and Ira did not arrive yet to console their mother on loosing their grandfather.

For the unversed Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta got married in 1986 and filed a divorce in 2002. They got separated after 16 years of marriage. When Aamir was in his early 20s and Reena was in his teenage they eloped and tied the knot. Her father was upset with their decision and didn’t accept their marriage, the actor revealed in an old interview with Simi Garewal. Well, both followed their respective religion Hindu and Muslim.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta have two children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Their son Junaid followed in the footsteps of his father and got into the film business. He made acting debut in Netflix film Maharaja. Currently, he is working on a movie with Khushi Kapoor. He is also set to turn producer soon with Pritam Pyaare under his father’s company Aamir Khan Productions. On the other hand, Ira Khan stayed away from acting and recently got married to her love Nupur Shikhare. 

Aamir Khan is currently working on his next production venture Sitaare Zameen Par. He stepped down from acting temporarily and is focused on producing content.
