Actor Govinda has been discharged from the hospital. He was admitted to Mumbai's Criti Care Hospital after being shot in the leg on October 1. The bullet was removed from Govinda's leg through surgery, and he was kept in the ICU. Many film stars had reached the hospital to meet Govinda. Wife Sunita also reached Govinda immediately after getting the news.
Govinda came out of the hospital on a wheelchair. Wife Sunita and the rest of the family were also with him. He greeted the fans by waving his hand, and thanked everyone. Seeing the crowd of fans, Govinda got emotional and thanked them for their prayers with moist eyes. Wife Sunita had reached the hospital on October 4 to get Govinda discharged. During this, while talking to the media, she said that Govinda would not be able to stand due to the bullet injury in the leg and surgery. But she would make him talk while sitting in the car.
At the same time, Dr. Ramesh Agarwal of Criti Care Asia Hospital said about Govinda's health that the actor has been advised to rest for three-four weeks. He said, 'Govinda ji is currently undergoing physiotherapy and exercise. He is fine now. We are discharging him. He has to rest for 3-4 weeks. He will rest at home.'
Govinda was going to Kolkata to participate in an event on the morning of October 1. In the morning, when he started keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard, it fell down. The revolver misfired and Govinda got shot in the leg. Govinda was alone at home at that time. Wife Sunita had gone to visit Khatu Shyam ji. As soon as she got the news of Govinda being shot, she immediately left for Mumbai.
