Munjya fame Abhay Verma opens up about casting couch struggles, Says 'The experience broke me’

Bollywood and TV Actor Abhay Verma gained a lot of popularity from Manoj Bajpayee's action thriller film 'The Family Man'. After this, he appeared in the latest recently released film Munjya with actress Sharvari Wagh and caught all the attention.

Recently, the actor has talked about his experience with the casting couch in an interview. Talking to Instant Bollywood, Abhay said that at the beginning of his career, he had to face saying no for the first time. "I have never reached a situation where I have said no. Actually, it happened once, so my first meeting in Bombay was not good. People want different things in life." The actor said that despite feeling uncomfortable, he did not bow down and refused to compromise on his values.

He said that he returned to his home in Panipat, Haryana. Talking about the casting couch incident, Abhay said, "I was very naive at that time and I did not understand anything. Then I thought why should I give my TV remote to other people to change channels and play. This is my life and my goal. I came to Panipat and crushed the dreams.”

Abhay Verma started his career in the year 2019. He played a small role in Netflix's web series 'Little Things'. After this, he worked in many television ads and in this way gradually made his mark. Today, Abhay has become a well-known face of the industry. However, he faced no less difficulties to reach here. Ultimately his character in Manoj Bajpayee's superhit web series 'The Family Man 2' changed the direction of his career. If we talk about Abhay Verma's work, he was last seen in the horror comedy film 'Munjya' directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, released this year, in which he won the hearts of the audience with his strong acting. At the same time, he will soon be seen in 'King' directed by Sujoy Ghosh with Shahrukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan.
