Emraan Hashmi is reportedly set to join hands with director Neeraj Pandey. The actor recently impressed his fans in Disney+ Hotstars Showtime and would treat them again with the next potential project. Neeraj Pandey is currently in talks with Emraan Hashmi for a probable collaboration on a Netflix web series. 

Following the success of web show Special Ops, the director Neeraj Pandey is working on a special web series with Netflix, according to Pinkvilla. He is in advance discussions with Emraan Hashmi and the actor is also excited about the project. The title of the web series remains unknown and more details have been kept under wraps. 

A source close to the development said, “After the Special Ops franchise, Neeraj Pandey is working on a special web-series for Netflix and he is in talks with Emraan Hashmi for the same. The subject warrants the presence of an actor like Emraan and Netflix is also bullish about the conversation.”

The source further added, “It’s Hindi Film Industry and nothing is official, till its actually on paper, but the conversations are moving in the right direction. Emraan is also excited to join hands with the maker of films like A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. It’s a thriller, a genre that one resonates Pandey with.”

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s Showtime, also starring Rajeev Khandelwal and backed by Karan Johar. On the theatrical front, his last released was Tiger 3, where he played the antagonist opposite Salman Khan.

On the other hand, director Neeraj Paandey is engaged with Special Ops 2.0 post-production. The web series starring Kay Kay Menon is scheduled to release next year.
