Ananya Panday featured in the Netflix film CTRL which talks about cybercrime subject exploring the dark side of artificial intelligence. The actress recently revealed she got into two embarrassing moments online. She recalls releasing her phone number on social media and also of her close friend Suhana Khan. As a result, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter’s number was hacked after it was leaked on social media.
In a recent interview, Panday shared an anecdote related to social media privacy. She once unintentionally harmed her best friend’s privacy by disclosing her phone number. She said, “No, I leaked my own number once by mistake. It happened when I was doing an interview. It is now changed because of some reason my phone got taken away. There was a press conference and the interview was starting. Some reporters came and asked me for my number to do journalist things and ask questions and all. So, then I gave the number but the interview had started. And they put it on YouTube with my number. Then, it got leaked.”
Call Me Bae actress further added, “Once I leaked Suhana's number by mistake. I was FaceTiming her. And then I was like, Suhana is not picking up. I screenshotted the picture and I put it on Instagram and her number was there. Then she (Suhana Khan) called me, 'Listen, my number got hacked' and I said, 'Oh my God. What happened Suhana? That's such a crazy story’. But then someone told her that I did it.”
On the work front, Ananya Panday recently made her digital debut with Cal Me Bae on Amazon Prime Video. Her OTT career was boosted by Karan Johar who launched her in Bollywood with Student of The Year 2. She continued OTT work with cyber crime thriller CTRL for Netflix.
On the other hand, Suhana Khan made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies on Netflix. For the next project, she has teamed up with her father Shah Rukh Khan in an action thriller project. The father-daughter duo have collaborated for Sujoy Ghosh’s film titled King which also stars Abhishek Bachchan as antagonist.
