Saif Ali Khan set to return as lead in 'Race 4'; Producer Ramesh Taurani Confirms..

Fans are keeping an eye on every single update related to the upcoming fourth instalment of the popular 'Race' franchise. There were reports last day that Saif Ali Khan who was in the lead role in the first two films will now return to this franchise again. At the same time, the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani has now also confirmed this news. Taurani, founder of production house Tips Films, said that Saif will be seen leading the team of actors in 'Race 4'.

Speaking to PTI, the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani confirmed that the film will go on the floor in 2025. He said, 'Saif will be back in the Race franchise, and we are excited to have him on board. He has done a great job in the first two films.' Sharing an update about the film, Taurani said, 'The film will have many actors and we are finalising the script and the cast.' Taurani added in his statement, 'We have not even finalised the director. We will officially announce it next year before the shooting of the film begins.' 

For your information, the first two films of this franchise were directed by Abbas-Mustan, while the third instalment was directed by Remo D'Souza. Earlier, there were reports that Nikhil Advani has been chosen to direct the film. However, Taurani's statement makes it clear that the director for 'Race 4' has not been decided yet.

The second part of the film Race was released in 2013. John Abraham was seen as a villain in it. Both the films got good reviews and they also earned well at the box office. Saif Ali Khan played the lead role in Race-2 and fans liked everything from its music to story and action. Now it remains to be seen what wonders Saif Ali Khan shows in the fourth part of the film.
