Every character is popular and relatable to the audience but Sharadhha Kapoor’s titular character remains unnamed. Many fan theories were built around this and now director Amar Kaushik spilled beans.
Shraddha Kapoor plays a key role in the Stree film series alongside Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. However, her name has been kept a secret but fans started speculations. Curiosity has arisen from a scene in Stree 2 where Shraddha whispers her character's name into Vicky's (Rajkummar Rao) ear, prompting him to react with a peculiar and unfavorable expression. Recently, Director Amar Kaushik was asked about the character name in the horror comedy film series.
In a recent conversation with the YouTube channel, Men Of Culture hinted at a mystery related to her name and the audience will have to wait long for this big revelation. He said, "Naam jo hai uska vo ek boht badi mystery hai. I think tumlogo ko kaafi samay rukna padega uske liye.” He also revealed that Rajkummaar’s reaction was natural. To get a genuine and real reaction the name was kept hidden from him as well. Kaushik also dismissed theories suggesting that Shraddha’s character is named Munni, linking it to the film Munjya.
In the same interview, Amar Kaushik also hinted at a possible love triangle between Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon’s characters from Maddock Films' supernatural horror universe. He was asked if there could be a love story between Bhaskar from Bhediya (Varun) and Stree (Shraddha Kapoor) as featured in one of the Stree 2 songs. To this Kaushik replied, "Varun’s character says, ‘wo bhi powerful, main bhi powerful.’” When asked if it is serious he said, "Ho bhi sakta hai, nahi bhi ho sakta hai."
