According to the letter sent by the PETA India team on Wednesday, they have been flooded with complaints from the public upset with the donkey living in the house. They have requested host Salman Khan to urge the producers to avoid using animals as a means of entertainment.

It is written in the letter, 'We have received complaints from many people, in which they have requested to remove Gadhraj from the show. People say that it is not right to use any animal to make the show entertaining. This will cause many problems, we request you to ask Advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte to hand over Gadhraj (donkey) to PETA India.'

It is also written in the letter issued by PETA India, 'Donkey is a social animal and it should be given freedom to live in its herd. Gunaratna Sadavarte has kept this donkey to do research on milk.' PETA India team has clarified that donkeys give milk only for their children. Salman Khan, Viacom 18 and Banijay Asia (production house) are also mentioned in this letter of PETA.
