Radhika Madan speaks out on nepotism in Bollywood: 'Star kids get second chances, While outsiders are dismissed'

Bollywood actress Radhika Madan has been seen in many Bollywood films. Now, Radhika has shared her opinion about working in the Bollywood industry. She said that nepotism is prevalent in Bollywood regarding films, those whose parents are already in the industry get many films to do their films and understand things. Whereas, people outside the industry are thrown out on a single mistake.

Radhika Madan, who is known for films like Angrezi Medium, Safira, Pataakha. During an appearance on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast,Talking about nepotism Radhika said, “Unko Sikhe ke liye 2-3 aur films mil jaati hai abhi sikh jayega, arre dekho sudhar hai (They get many films to learn and people pat their back for improvement in every film.) Like every other industry, this happens here too.” However, she said that a 'star kid' has the advantage of working in 2-3 films, even if they have not performed well in their first film.

She further said, “People who are not already related to the industry are treated differently.” Regarding being from outside the industry, Radhika Madan said that “people like us who come from outside the industry are treated differently. They are told 'you cannot act, we gave you a chance, you are out.” Radhika said, “if it is my mistake, I will be thrown out. I will not get a chance to do two-three films to learn acting. Artists like us should come into this field only after learning acting completely and polishing themselves well.”

Radhika Madan was recently seen in 'Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo', 'Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video’ and Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira, which didn’t fare well at the box-office.
