Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan recalled, "After Chandu Champion, I went to the sets of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. I was doing everything very relaxed. My voice was calm. When Anees Bazmee took the first shot, he was shocked. Seeing my shot, he immediately said, 'Kartik, wake up, this is a different world'. It took me a few days to get back into the atmosphere of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. I was immersed in 'Chandu Champion'."

Kartik Aaryan shared that the film is going to be bigger and scarier. He said, "This time we have a bigger budget. That was a big difference." The actor recalled that 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' was challenging due to the low budget and confusion over the audience's response.

The actor said, "Last time, it was a task to shoot it. The audience didn't even know why we were making a sequel, and they thought it wouldn't work. However, I am glad, Bhushan sir and Anees Bazmee believed in the project and made it somehow."

Karthik further added, "I am hoping that the hard work and money we have put in will give us good returns. I believe the third part has more horror than the second one, which we are unable to show in the teaser and trailer, but you will see it all in the film and you will say it yourself."
