Netizens praise Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein as it streams on OTT

Khel Khel Mein is an entertainer bringing back Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan to comedy. The comedy-drama revolves around a group of friends indulging in a quirky game night that soon turns into a nightmare as secrets unfold. After its theatrical release, the film is now streaming on Netflix. Khel Khel Mein had a low run at the box office but after its digital release netizens are lauding the movie and regret not watching it in theaters.

Mudassar Aziz directorial found its way to people through OTT streaming on October 10 on Netflix. Facing a box office clash with Vedaa and Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein found it difficult to pass. Although whoever watched it in theaters appreciated the comedy-drama. Upon its OTT release the movie has once again caught the audience's attention and people can’t stop showering love and praise.

Netizens took to twitter to share their opinions. One user called Khel Khel Mein better than Stree 2, writing, "more fun than Stree 2. Now that it’s on Netflix, everyone’s realizing it’s better. I said it before—Stree 2 was overrated, but Khel Khel Mein is pure fun and deserved more love in cinemas.”

Another user wrote, “If you think #AkshayKumar can only play over the top comedic characters... watch #KhelKhelMein and see how he aces a very subtle character and still makes us laugh with his impeccable timing”, whereas another netizen shared, “#KhelKhelMein is so so good... Regret not watching it in theatres and I personally found it to be even better than #Stree2.”

Someone wrote, “This movie isn’t as bad as people made it seem during its theatrical run. It’s a fun watch, a decent comedy with some flaws, but worth your time!”

Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Wakaoo Films Khel Khel Mein is set to release in theaters nationwide on August 15, 2024.
