Anees Bazmee who has helmed several comedy movies also created Salman Khan’s Ready. While there is a high demand for iconic movies sequels Salman Khan’s Ready sequel is also in talks. Upon its release in 2011, the film performed really well at the box office and is still celebrated by fans. Reacting to Ready 2, director Anees Bazmee has shared if it is in his plans.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee who is currently busy with his upcoming movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 reacted to the demand of Ready sequel in an interview with Times Now. According to him, however, there are no concrete plans for Ready 2 he is keen on working again with Salman Khan. He was quoted saying, “Salman Khan’s comic timing is incredible in Ready. I feel if we are able to do it, we can deliver a wonderful film once again. We will definitely give it a thought. I would love to work with Salman Khan again. My films with him have been memorable. Ready toh superhit thi hi aur No Entry is a cult film.”

Actor Salman Khan and director Anees Bazmeee have worked together on two movies No Entry and Ready. Both comedy dramas have been accepted well by audience and still loves to binge watch again. While No Entry sequel is on the cards Ready 2 is also in demand. 

On the work front, Anees Bazmee is gearing up for the release of his upcoming horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. This is third installment of the horror comedy film series of Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa which release in 2007. Anees Bazmee took the rights of Priyadarshan’s film to extend the franchise with Bhool Bhulaiyaaa 2 in 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit is scheduled to release in theaters on November 1, 2024 during the festivities of Diwali.
