Jackie Shroff enjoyed the attention and spotlight when considered to replace Amitabh Bachchan in Shahenshah

Amitabh Bachchan is considered as one of the biggest stars of Hindi cinema. His career includes many hit films, like "Shahenshah". Because only after this film, he started being called the "Shahenshah" of Bollywood. However, it is surprising to know that Big B almost dropped out of this film, and the reason for this was an illness.

Recently, director Tinnu Anand shared some interesting things about the film "Shahenshah". While talking on a radio show, he said that Amitabh was supposed to start shooting for "Shahenshah" after the film "Coolie", but during this time he suffered from a disease called Myasthenia Gravis. Due to this, the shooting of the film had to be postponed.

Tinnu Anand also revealed that he became very worried after Amitabh's exit from the film. The creditors started demanding money back from him, as a lot of money had already been spent on the production. He said that in this situation, the idea of taking other actors was also considered, but it was clear that no one could replace Amitabh.

Tinu said, "Shahenshah was cancelled. Since thousands and lakhs of rupees had already been spent on the unit, air tickets and everything, the creditors started knocking on my doors to ask for their money back. It was impossible for me to pay that amount and that's when we started looking for another actor to replace Amitabh. However, we knew that no one can replace Amitabh."

Giving more information, Tinu told that Jackie Shroff was the first to agree for this film, and this also got him work in other films. When he proposed the film to Jitendra, Jitendra made it clear that he could not replace Amitabh.

In this way, the film "Shahenshah" not only became a turning point in Amitabh's career, but it also shows how the director and the actors handled the situation even in difficult times. Amitabh Bachchan's performance and the importance of this film will always be remembered.
