Kajol reveals who is ‘Asli Singham’ between her and Ajay Devgn

Kajol and Ajay Devgn are gearing up for their cop characters in Do Patti and Singham Again respectively. Their fans are definitely in for a treat as both movies are set  to release in a week’s gap. Kajol known for her wit and signature sense of humour revealed who is the real Singham in the family.

At the trailer launch of Do Patti, she managed to amuse the crowd with her humors response to real-life Singham between her and Ajay Devgn. She playfully called herself Asli  Singham while Ajay Devgn has portrayed Bajirao Singham in three films of Rohit Shetty’s franchise. She said, "Dekhiye yeh maine phle bhi kaha hai har stage pe kaha hai ki asli singham (main hoon)...also I did not take any tips from him [Ajay] (I have shared this earlier in every stage that I am the real Singham),"

Kajol plays a cop for the first time in her cinema career spanning over 30 years. She even shared her experience of playing a police officer on screen. She said, "I think when you wear a uniform on screen, there's a certain, I don't know how to explain it, but there's a certain stature. You feel that. You feel that even as an actor in a shot. Even though you know that you're giving a shot, you know that you're an actor and you don't have the actual style. But still, you have, I don't know, a passion ... There's a certain 'kadakness' that comes in your posture that just comes there naturally. So, yes, I really, really enjoyed playing it and I would love to play it again."

About Do Patti, is a mystery thriller featuring Kriti Sanon in a double role Kajol as a cop investigating a mysterious case. Do Patti is produced by Kanika Dhillon's Katha Pictures and Kriti Sanon's Blue Butterfly Films. The film will be released on Netflix on October 25.

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn’s next film is Singham Again, the third chapter of the Singham series and 5th installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film starring an ensemble cast is scheduled to release in theaters on November 1, during Diwali festivities.
