Bollywood and Marathi cinema mourn the loss of veteran actor Atul Parchure

On 14 October 2024, veteran actor Atul Parchure died at the age of 57. He was battling cancer for the last few years and eventually lost the battle. His death has sent a wave of mourning in the entertainment world. Many famous stars of Bollywood and Marathi cinema expressed condolences through social media on the demise of Atul Parchure. 

Actor Arjun Kapoor wrote in the post, "I never got the opportunity to work with him, but I was always a fan of his characters. He fought a long battle with life. May God give peace to his soul."

Actress Renuka Shahane shared her picture with Atul and remembered him in just two words: "Atul Mitra." Her post expressed the emotions deeply. 

Supriya Pilgaonkar also wrote on her social media account, “Dear friend, this shouldn't have happened. You struggled a lot, but never lost your smile. Will always remember you. May God give the family the strength to bear the loss.”

Sachin Pilgaonkar shared his feelings and said, “It is extremely sad to lose a wonderful artist and friend like Atul Parchure. His memories will always remain with me. Heartfelt tributes.”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expressed deep condolences on the demise of Atul Parchure. He said, “The demise of Atul Parchure is an irreparable loss for both Marathi and Hindi cinema. He started with children's theatre and did great work in plays, serials and films. His acting journey has been inspirational, and he will always be missed.”

Actress Suzanne Bernert also wrote on Instagram, “Last salutes to our dear friend Atul. Akhil and I have worked with him. He was a sensitive and excellent artist. Om Shanti.”

Atul Parchure made a place in the hearts of the audience through his comic and serious roles in his career. His talent will always remain in both Marathi and Hindi cinema. His departure is a big loss not only for cinema but also for his countless fans.Atul Parchure's last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on today October 15 at 11 am.
