Anees Bazmee's 2007 film 'Welcome' is considered a cult classic today. There are some moments and characters in the film which have immense popularity. For example, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor's characters Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai. Meanwhile, during the promotion of his next film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', Anees Bazmee has made a big revelation about Nana Patekar. The director said that Patekar initially did not want to listen to the script of 'Welcome'. Also, he wanted Bazmee to swear on his mother and make sure whether he should sign this film or not.

Refreshing memories related to the film, Anees recently revealed that Nana Patekar had refused to listen to the script. The director refreshed the memories of casting Nana and working with him in the film. He said in an interview, 'He was not even ready to listen to the story. He told me to swear on your mother and tell me whether I should do this or not. I don't want to hear the story.'

The director also revealed that Nana finally listened to the script for three hours and was very happy with it. The director also called himself a big fan of Nana. Although he had never experimented with comedy roles before 'Welcome', Anees felt he would define comedy for everyone. He told that Nana played his comedy role in the film with utmost seriousness.

The director also told about the stories he had heard about Nana being difficult to work with. However, when Anees worked with him, he felt it was exactly the opposite as he is a veteran actor. Bazmee's next film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is set to release this Diwali. It stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri.
