Jaideep Ahlawat wept over absent FTII friends at his wedding, forgoing communication for months

Two Bollywood actors- Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma are such names who have made their mark not as heroes but as artists. There was a time between them when they both did not even look at each other's face. Recently, this couple mentioned the distance that came between them in an interview given to The Hollywood Reporter. This incident is from the year 2010, when Jaideep Ahlawat got his first film opposite Akshay Kumar.

Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma studied together at Pune's FTII (Film and Television Institute of India). There was a very good bonding between these two since college days and a big group of them was also formed. In such a situation, when Jaideep decided to get married in the year 2009, many of his friends including Vijay Verma had booked their tickets to attend the wedding.

Just a few days before the wedding, Jaideep Ahlawat got the film 'Khatta Meetha'. In this, he was seen with Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan. As soon as he got his first break, 'Maharaj' actor Jaideep postponed his wedding date. Regarding this, Vijay Verma said that he did not understand what to do with his ticket.

He says, 'We were so poor that we did not have money to buy a second ticket'. Due to not being able to buy a second ticket, Jaideep's friends did not attend his wedding. The 'Khatta Meetha' actor was deeply hurt by this decision of his friends and then he did not talk to them for 8 months.

After 8 months of resentment, when Jaideep Ahlawat met Vijay Verma and his other friends, he started crying while sitting together and eating and drinking. While crying, he expressed to his friends that he felt very bad and was very hurt that none of his friends had attended his wedding. Seeing him cry, the rift in their friendship vanished.

Talking about the work front, both these actors were seen together in the crime-thriller series 'Jaane Jaan' starring Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. Before this series directed by Sujoy Ghosh, both were seen together in 'Baaghi 3'.
