Shah Rukh Khan has left everyone elated with his return to the silver screen after 4 years hiatus. Following Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki now all eyes are on his next big project King. Peeping Moon was the first to break that SRK teamed up with Sujoy Ghosh for a full-fledged action thriller. And now our journalist Rahul Raut has reported that Shah Rukh Khan will play an assassin in King.
Tagged as the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has showcased his versatility with diverse roles throughout his journey. He has even captivated audiences by playing negative characters in movies like Baazigar, Darr, and more. The actor returns to play the grey character once again in the highly anticipated massive-scale King.
Peeping Moon journalist suggests that Shah Rukh Khan plays an assassin in King. The action thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh goes on floors towards the year-end. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma. We were also the first to report that Abhishek Bachchan will star in King opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

With this, an older comment from the actor has caught attention. During his appearance at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in August 2024 expressed his desire to play a baddie. When questioned about characters he wishes to play in future projects, SRk said “I am not stereotyped; I am hero type,” mentioning further “I think I have a new way of playing a bad guy.”
King follows the story of the mentor-protegee bond between Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana. The action-packed film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s home banner Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand’s production house, Marflix.
