Aditya Roy Kapur broke the silence on his relationship status after separating from his girlfriend Ananya Panday. In an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan for her show What Women Want, the actor opened up on his personal life. He called himself a chiller and revealed he prefer blocking someone over ghosting. 

In the new promo of What Women Want, Kareena Kapoor is seen asking him how he handles ghosting in a relationship. To this, Aditya responded he is bad with his phone and would better block the person than ghosting. He said, "A hundred messages! I’m bad with my phone anyway. My whole day will go by, and I'll just... block."

Commenting on relationship status when asked, Aditya piqued if chilling is a status. To this Kareena said, “You are always chilling, Adi.” Aditya added, “I’m a chiller.”

Aditya Roy Kapur recently ended his relationship with Ananya Panday a few months ago. The couple dated each other for over two years. They always dropped hints sparking their romance rumours which began in 2022. Both spoke about each other indirectly on talk shows and shared pictures from their trips. 

Earlier, a close friend of the duo confirmed their breakup speaking to Bombay Times, “They ended their relationship nearly a month ago. They seemed to be doing well together, so the breakup surprised all of us. They are on good terms, but Ananya is working on moving forward, though there's definitely some pain involved. She's been spending time with her new furry companion. Meanwhile, Aditya is also handling the situation in a mature manner."

On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino alongside Sara Ali Khan. On the other hand, Ananya Panday will be next seen alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan in a Karan Johar backed untitled film on C Shankar Nair.
