Actress Tamannaah Bhatia's name has come up in the Mahadev Betting App case. Actually, on Thursday, ED questioned Tamannaah in the Guwahati office. Let us tell you that Tamannaah was called by ED for questioning in the HPZ app scam. The actress reached the Guwahati office at around 1 pm. During this time her mother was also present with her.

The Mahadev Betting App case has been in the news for a long time. Even before Tamannaah Bhatia, ED has summoned many celebs, YouTubers in the Mahadev Betting App case. Let us tell you that in this case, ED had questioned 17 actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor last year. All of them were accused of promoting the app and appearing in their advertisements.

The full name of HPZ App is HPZ Token App. It is basically a betting app which has many types of games. Through this app, people have been cheated of crores of rupees by promising to give them 4 thousand rupees every day on investing 57 thousand rupees. For this fraud, fake accounts were opened in different banks in the name of shell companies, in which money was transferred from the investors. The accused invested this money in crypto and bitcoins and invested money on many betting apps like Mahadev. In this case, ED has seized movable and immovable assets worth Rs 497.20 crore. This case is somehow linked to the Mahadev betting app scam.

Although, Mahadev betting app owner Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been arrested, but many more names are coming out in this case. Due to this, Tamannaah is accused of promoting illegal viewing of IPL matches on the supporting app of Mahadev online gaming and betting application and in this connection ED questioned her.
