Sky Force is the highly anticipated project of Akshay Kumar. The buzz about the film has always been high since it was announced. Backed by Dinesh Vijan the action thriller film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Veer Paharia, and Nimrat Kaur in titular roles. Fans, waiting for the film, are in for a treat as the makers have dropped an exciting update. The aerial entertainer Sky Force is set to soar high on Republic Day next year 2025.

Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur is set to hit theaters on January 26, 2025. The Dinesh Vijan produced movie is set against the backdrop of India’s first airstrike on Pakistan. Marking big Bollywood debut Veer Paharia will make an exciting pair with Akshay Kumar. The trailer is said to drop during Christmas 2024. 

A source close to the development revealed, “Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and the team believe that Sky Force is a perfect fit for the Republic Day period. It’s packed with action, drama, emotions, thrills, and a strong patriotic theme. Set against the backdrop of India’s first airstrike on Pakistan, the film has shaped up very well.”

The source further added, “The VFX, crafted by the National and Oscar Award-winning company DNEG, is exceptional. The film boasts breathtaking aerial visuals and captures the emotions surrounding India’s first surgical strike with precision. The on-screen chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Veer is expected to be a standout, and audiences are in for a treat with how Akshay is portrayed in the film.”

The film is set to release on January 24, 2025, with its trailer scheduled for a grand launch during the Christmas 2024 holiday season. “It’s going to be a month-long campaign, with the trailer setting the tone for Sky Force’s powerful arrival,” adds the source.

Sky Force producer Dinesh Vijan recently delivered a streak of hits with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Munjya, and Stree 2. He is now gearing up for Sky Force and Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna.
