Film director and producer Karan Johar recently announced the biopic of C Shankaran Nair with Akshay Kumar, which will be released on the occasion of Holi in March 2025. This announcement went viral on social media. At the same time, new information has come out regarding this news. According to reports, Karan Johar has asked Akshay Kumar to reconsider the release date of Jolly LLB 3.

Reports claimed that Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled to release on April 10, 2025, just 20 days after the C Shankaran Nair biopic. Given that both films are in the courtroom space, Karan has requested Akshay to postpone the release of Jolly LLB 3 by a few weeks.

It was reported that Akshay Kumar is considering Karan's request. However, his producers are hesitant to leave the vacation period in the summer of 2025. It was said that Jolly LLB 3 has got a lucrative date with several holidays in the first two weeks and hence it is going to be a tough decision. He understands the issues raised by Karan, as both the films are of the same genre and hence he has started discussions with the makers of Jolly 3.

Jolly LLB 3 is planned for a summer release, while the Shankaran Nair biopic is set for March 15, 2025. The original Jolly LLB was released in 2013, followed by a sequel in 2017. The first film starred Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles, while the second installment saw Akshay Kumar replacing Arshad Warsi with Huma Qureshi.

The upcoming third installment will see Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi face off, with Saurabh Shukla returning as the judge. It's basically Jolly vs Jolly and the entire cast is excited to begin shooting for this ambitious film in the Jolly LLB franchise. The team is still considering two titles namely Jolly LLB 3 or Jolly vs Jolly and a decision will be taken soon.
