Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali has made a new claim about the actor amid death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. Somy claimed that when the blackbuck hunting incident happened, she discussed it with Salman. Salman did not know about the importance of blackbuck for the Bishnoi community. She was supposed to accompany him on the day of the hunt but he stopped because he felt that she would scare the prey away.
Somy Ali told India Today, "Why should he apologize for something he did not know about? It happened unintentionally and he is being forced to apologize for it. It does not make any sense. It is not about ego. People say that he (Salman) is very arrogant and has a reputation. Today I have nothing to do with him or his family. I just don't want anyone to be killed in Bollywood or Hollywood. Violence is never the solution.”
Sharing the alleged details of her conversation with Salman about the hunt and everything that followed, Somy said, 'The Bishnoi community needs to understand that Salman was not aware of this. He told me he didn't know anything. This is absurd.' Somy also recalled, 'I can assure you that Salman did not know that the Bishnoi community worships blackbucks. I have gone hunting with Salman many times during outdoor shoots. During the 1998 shoot, he did not take me along because he said, 'You will deliberately hunt loudly and the animal will run away. I don't like hunting as a sport.' The one time I didn't go, he caught the animal.'
She also said that she does not want anyone to harm Salman's family or friends, Kajol, Tabu, Ajay Devgn, Raveena or Saif. She mentioned the law and also called Lawrence an 'idiot'. She wants to meet Devendra of Bishnoi Samaj and talk about this. She says that there is 80 acres of land, many people go there, Salman is not the only one who has gone till date. Somy also called Salman a 'good person'. Rightnow Somy is worried about her ex-boyfriend and his family, but she again said that she has nothing to do with the superstar. She says, 'I am against the death penalty and murder. I am as worried about Salman as I am about a man walking on the road or my neighbor. I don't want to talk to Salman, I don't have any feelings for Salman.'
Somi further said, 'I don't care about him, I don't want to be associated with him again. I don't want any publicity from him. I don't want his money. I have my own money. The last time I spoke to Salman was in 2012. I haven't spoken to him for years. I just want no one to get murdered.'
