Stree 2 became the most successful Hindi film regaining an all-time blockbuster status at the box office. It surpassed various highest-grossing movies including Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan. Amar Kaushik's directorial was another installment into the most celebrated Maddock Films supernatural universe and it ruled the box office upon its release. The lead star of Stree 2 has now opened up on overtaking Pathaan and Jawan. 

During the NDTV Summit, Shraddha Kapoor responded to the most discussed topic stating she is overjoyed to be a part of Stree 2. However, about comparisons with Pathaan and Jawan, she said Shah Rukh Khan is a leading man of Bollywood and no one can beat that. She said, said, "I have an absolutely fantastic leading man in our Indian film industry, Shah Rukh Khan, who I’ve grown up being a fan of. So, we’ll keep that where it belongs."

Talking about Stree 2 success, Shraddha said, “It’s exciting to have a film that does well, but it’s even more exciting when the entire industry thrives and collectively a lot more films succeed." Stree 2 was a massive success at the box office earning Rs  874.58 cr. as a worldwide collection including India box office gross collection Rs 740.28 cr. and Overseas gross collection Rs 134.3 cr.
