Bollywood celebs higher entourage cost is the most discussed topic in the industry right now. Many filmmakers have expressed how actors high fees have affected their filmmaking budget and how they have struggled to afford it at the cost of owning the debt. Kriti Sanon who is gearing up for her maiden production venture Do Patti addressed the subject. 

Kriti Sanon established her career as a remarkable actor and entrepreneur launching a cosmetics brand and a production house Blue Butterfly Films. As an actor and producer Kriti shared her thoughts on celebrities' high entourage cost in filmmaking. In a recent interview, she stated that an individual’s cost is increased if hair and makeup is involved however there are also unnecessary entourage.

She said, “When we talk about hair, makeup, and costume, they make the character to a large extent. Having said that, there are a lot of unnecessary entourage, which some times certain actors might get. We have to be mindful of it. If I am doing an action film, it is important for the character to have a trainer and a nutritionist.” 

She further recalled working on Mimi, and said, “I had to gain 15 kgs for Mimi, I had a nutritionist whose cost was on the production. But, if I am doing it for my luxury and well-being and if it is not as necessary for the film, then that should not be on production. So these basics I understand and agree with it. Some unnecessary, stupid cost should not come in the production. You got to have a cap on it.”

Kriti  Sanon plays a double role in mystery thriller Do Patti. The film also stars her Dilwale co-star Kajol as a police officer. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi Do Patti is co-produced by Kriti Sanon under her production company Blue Butterfly Films and Kanika Dhillon. The murder mystery thriller will exclusively stream on Netflix on October 25.
