Kriti Sanon opens up on botox and surgery amid Alia Bhatt slams trolls

Kriti Sanon featured in her maiden production venture Do Patti which was released on Netflix on October 25, 2024. The actress who has been on a promotional spree spoke on botox and cosmetic surgeries actors undergo. Yesterday, Alia Bhatt slammed trolls claiming her surgery went wrong and that half of her face got paralyzed. She expressed her frustration over baseless claims of having a crooked smile and a weird way of speaking. She called out such serious charges ridiculous and insensitive. Now, Kriti Sanon addressed the subject stating botox is not wrong and it depends on individuals.

In a recent interview with Filmfare, Kriti Sanon said, “I don’t judge it at all. To each his own. If you feel more confident by changing some part of you, it’s up to you. Then it’s your decision. You have to face whatever happens with that decision. You may be like ‘oh, what did I do?’ So that’s your decision. It’s your life, your body, your face. I don’t feel the judgement of it, but yes, I do understand that I don’t want young girls to start feeling the pressure of looking perfect all the time.”

Kriti asserts that in the profession of an actor, a person has to look good every day as what a person goes through mentally is evident on the face. She said, “If you’re in a profession like this which is based on vanity, there is a part of you that wants to look good. I think a lot of what we’re doing to ourselves mentally also shows on your face. So, your overall well-being is what you want to take care of. And I don’t always want to put pictures where I look very perfect. I want to consciously go away from the filter zone.”

Do Patti, is a mystery thriller featuring Kriti Sanon in a double role and Kajol as a cop investigating a mysterious case. Do Patti is produced by Kanika Dhillon's Katha Pictures and Kriti Sanon's Blue Butterfly Films. The film was released on Netflix on October 25.
