Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan are best of friends and their bond dates back to childhood as their mothers Gauri Khan and Bhavna Panday are close pals. Ananya has spent most of her childhood with the Khan clan and even today she spends a lot of time at their home Mannat. Call Me Bae actress believes Shah Rukh Khan is the coolest father and revealed he likes to be in their gang.  

In an interview with Mid Day, Ananya Panday shared how was it growing up in Bollywood’s inner circle, Shah Rukh Khan and his family. She said, “Shah Rukh sir has come from the outside, and he’s the king. I’ve seen how he’s dealt with fame so normally. The way he was at home with all of us… We didn’t even realise until he went and stood outside Mannat with thousands of people. For us, it was always like he’s a father figure, who has taught us to run on sports days and practice for our taekwondo class…”

The actress revealed that SRK has always been a very involved father despite his heavy work schedules he always managed time for children. She said, “He was a very involved and present parent. The way he is with Suhana and AbRam and Aryan is amazing. He is one of the best fathers. Suhana always says that even though he shoots for 12-16 hours, he’ll always come home and spend time with his children. He’s involved in their college admissions and homework. I remember seeing him like that, and he’s still like that, in all of our lives…” 

On the work front, Ananya was recently seen in 2 digital projects - the Amazon Prime Video web series Call Me Bae and the Netflix movie CTRL. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s full-fledged action-packed thriller King alongside his daughter Suhana Khan.
