This Diwali, moviegoers will have the exciting opportunity to choose between two major releases: Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, both hitting theaters on November 1, 2024. The Hindi film industry has faced a challenging period recently, with several films struggling at the box office. However, following the blockbuster success of Stree 2, audiences are turning their attention to the Cop Universe and horror comedy franchises, hoping to revive the magic of cinema.
In an exclusive interview with Peeping Moon, Kartik Aaryan reflected on the weight of expectations resting on his shoulders. As he prepares for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he expressed excitement rather than pressure, eager to deliver a memorable experience for viewers.
Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is poised for a strong box office performance, alongside Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. Both films are seen as pivotal in reigniting the magic of Hindi cinema, which has felt a bit lost in recent times.
Kartik Aaryan, whose last release Chandu Champion too tanked at the box office, says he is under no pressure but just excited. He thinks it is bonanza for the audience to have Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 both releasing together during Diwali festive time. 

He said, “I am happy that everyone is showing so much belief on my shoulders and I am just really excited about the release. I am thinking about whether this is right or this is wrong, whether there is too much pressure or not. I have done my job, I have really looked into the film, my character, and everything associated with the film. I have been marketing the film tirelessly and I love my job. I am enjoying the process.” 

He accepted the fact of a dull period but is positive that people would enjoy watching both big releases in theaters. He added, “Yeah, of course, there’s a lull period and people are hoping that these two films will bring magic to box office and cinemas again. And I wish the same. It’s a great bonanza for the audience to have two films of two different genres during Diwali time. During festive time when they have these two films, they can watch both and I think this happens rarely so yeah I am really looking forward to it so I am not taking any pressure. I am happy that I am getting a chance to showcase my film during Diwali.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the highly anticipated film starring Kartik Aaryan alongside Vidya Balan who returns as Manjulika. The horror comedy film also introduces Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri. The Anees Bazmee directorial is the third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa film series and promises to be more spooky and humours than previous chapters.
