Arshad Warsi praises Rajkummar Rao; Says “Stree 2 was the last good film”

Stree 2 became the highest-grossing Hindi film surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s big tickets Pathaan and Jawaan. Maddock FIlm’s supernatural horror comedy’s fifth installment created a milestone in the history of Bollywood. Released in August 2024, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer continues to receive love and appreciation. The critically acclaimed film now received praise from actor Arshad Warsi who thinks Stree 2 is the best film he has watched.

Arshad Warsi watched Stree 2 and couldn’t resist expressing his opinion about it. In an interview with Mashable India, he was asked which was the last good film, he quickly responded naming Stree 2. He appreciated Amar Kaushik's directorial calling it fab. He even weaved words of praise for Rajkummar Rao. 

He was quoted saying, “I saw Stree 2. I loved it, I thought it was fab. I really liked it. Rajkummar Rao is so good, he is such a good actor. I enjoy when I see money go into good use. When you spend so much money on a film and then people like that.”

On the work front, Arshad Warsi was last seen on screens in Bandaa Singh Chaudhary. He has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects. He joined the Welcome franchise with its third part Welcome to The Jungle which is currently in the filming process. Dhamaal’s next part is also in the shooting process. He also has Jolly LLB 3, Ghamasaan, and Bhagwat in the plan.
