Aishwarya is reported to be the second Indian actress to make a Hollywood debut. She not only appeared in multiple Hollywood movies but also created history being the first Indian actress to serve on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival, in 2003. Her groundbreaking achievements opened doors for many others in the industry, helping to elevate Bollywood’s presence on the global stage. 

Aishwarya Rai first gained public attention when she won the Miss World title in 1994. Since then she made a career in movies and became one of the recognized Indian actresses, starring in Bollywood and Hollywood movies. Just a year latter, she became the first Indian actress to serve on the jury at Cannes.
