Chunky Pandey opens up on career struggles as bollywood giants rose to fame, Reflects on his journey

Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey started his career in Bollywood with the film 'Aag Hi Aag'. Chunky Pandey believes that his career was going well in the initial phase, but as soon as big actors arrived, his popularity started decreasing. He said that when big stars like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda and Ajay Devgan started coming to the industry, he felt that he was lost somewhere.

In an interview given to Screen, Chunky Pandey told that he had to face many difficulties in the early days of his career. Chunky also said that he had to face rejection in some series and many times he also failed in auditions for films and TV.

Chunky shared an anecdote that once he went to meet the director of a romantic film and he was wearing a tank top. Seeing him, the director said that they are not looking for Tarzan for the film and suggested that he try his luck somewhere else. After this, Chunky Pandey said that after three years he got his first chance to work in a film in a washroom.

Chunky Pandey further said that while Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol made their mark in action films, Shah Rukh Khan made a name for himself as a romantic hero. Aamir Khan acted in serious and grounded stories, and Salman Khan achieved great success with Sooraj Barjatya.

Talking about work, Chunky Pandey will soon be seen in 'Housefull 5'. During the shooting of the film, he often shares pictures on social media, in which his fans praise his unique style.
