Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 cast including Kartik Aaryan Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav, Triptii Dimri, and the film’s director Anees Bazmee graced the recent episode of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ season 2. The Diwali special episode of the Netflix show was a fun banter among the actors and the host. They exchanged hilarious moments and also shared some anecdotes when they experienced paranormal activities.
The third installment of the horror comedy was reportedly shot in Kolkata. Kartik Aaryan who reprised his character of Rooh Baba recalled encountering a paranormal activity while shooting the film. He recounted, “It was a big mansion, it was dark, and the whole atmosphere was quite eerie. Just before we were about to take our shot, I was talking to someone when suddenly, someone scratched me from behind! Triptii thought I was just improvising or acting before the shot, but I told her, 'No, seriously, I felt something scratch me.' But there was actually no one behind us...”
In addition to this director Anees Bazmee recalled an incident of being strangled by a cat when he was shooting a psychological film centered around cats. The situation turned so serious that his mother advised him to not sleep alone and arranged for a man to stay with him but one day even he fled. Anees recalled, “One day, I began to strangle myself and made strange noises. He ran away, shouting, and soon a crowd gathered. They arrived just in time. After that incident, I decided to stop working on that movie, so I think it was a psychological effect.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 the horror comedy film released on Diwali marked the best opening of Kartik Aaryan’s career. Having released during the festive time it has entertained audiences, across the nation, who enjoyed movie time with families. Within 3 days of the release, it has entered the Rs 100 crore mark.
