Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of her upcoming action-packed web series Citadel: Honey Bunny created by Raj & DK. The actress, who has previously worked with the creators in The Family Man, opened up about the layered, complicated, and challenging role of her career she portrayed in the Amazon Prime Video espionage show. She even revealed that she made mistakes in the past and accepted failures.
The actress who is a household name in the South held an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram stories, where she addressed her fan's curiosities and questions. She spoke about work, life, and much more. One of the fans asked her about the hard work she had to put in for Citadel: Honey Bunny. For the unversed the actress shot for the series right after batting with autoimmune disease myositis and was initially not ready in fact she requested Raj & DK to cast someone else.
Responding to the fan, Samantha said, “I made a promise to myself that I'll challenge myself with every role that I take, each challenge being more difficult than the last one. I agree I made some mistakes in the past and things haven’t really worked out, and I accept failure. I accept that I might not have done my best in my last few films."
Talking about the forthcoming show, she added, "Citadel is something that I am truly proud of, even before its release just for the fact that I was able to complete the project. So I'm already proud of it. I also do believe that it is the most layered, complicated, and challenging role that I have played in my career. But I'm just gonna allow you to be the judge of that."
Citadel: Honey Bunny is an espionage thriller Indian spin-off to Amazon Prime Video series American original headlined by Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
