Recently, Salman Khan's close friend Baba Siddiqui was murdered, which is an irreparable loss for his family and Salman Khan. Baba Siddiqui was the person who made peace between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Baba Siddiqui's son Zeeshan Siddiqui recently spoke openly about his relationship with both Khans during a conversation with Lallantop.
Zeeshan said that Shah Rukh Khan has been his father's friend, while Salman Khan is more than family to him. He said, "Salman Bhai is not just a family friend for me, but he is like family. Shah Rukh sir is also a friend of our family, and he has been an old friend of Papa, but Salman Bhai and Papa's friendship has been going on since childhood, they both are very close friends."
Zeeshan also said that even after Papa's death, Salman talks to him regularly. He keeps in touch with Zeeshan every one or two days and never discusses Baba Siddiqui's murder or the threats Salman is receiving. Zeeshan described Salman as his 'uncle' and said, "My father's friend is like an uncle, but because of Salman bhai's personality, it feels more appropriate to call him bhai."
When Zeeshan was asked if Salman or Shah Rukh will be a part of his political campaign, he clarified that it has always been his and his father's aim to not bring their personal and political lives together. Also, many Bollywood stars do not want to play their part in politics, so he does not want anyone to be involved in such relationships.
Zeeshan also revealed that Salman Khan is in constant touch with him and recently Salman called him several times. Talking about Salman's work, he is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar, which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Apart from this, he is also hosting the 18th season of Bigg Boss these days.
In this entire incident, it is clearly visible that there was a deep friendship and relationship between Salman and Baba Siddiqui's family, which still remains strong with Salman's Zeeshan.
