Varun Dhawan: From rom-coms to action, Fans can't wait for his genre-bending 'Baby John'

Varun Dhawan, who is in the news these days for his upcoming film ‘Baby John’, is considered to be the most talented and gifted actor of Bollywood. He has made a special place in the hearts of the audience with his excellent acting. He has always tried to do something new with his films. In his 12-year career, he adopted a new genre with every film, and faced a new challenge and direction at every step.

Varun started his career with 'Student of the Year', a romantic drama in which he played the role of a young college student. After this, he never looked back. The variety of characters he played gave him a unique identity. Varun was seen in a completely different avatar in ‘Main Tera Hero’(2014) where he played the role of a light-hearted romantic-action hero. This film proved that Varun is not only adept at romance but also comedy. Then came ‘Jug Jug Jiyo’ (2022), a family drama, in which he played the role of a son who tries to reconcile his parents amid their ongoing marital crisis. Another surprise was ‘Bhediya’ (2022), in which Varun played a horror-comedy character. The film was a way of introducing his amazing versatility, in which he made the audience feel both scared and laugh.

Talking about one of the most underrated films of Varun I must include ‘October’ (2018) and Badlapur (2015), with these 2 films, Varun not only challenged the limits of his acting but also showed deep thought and understanding in those characters. While in October he played the role of a sensitive and intellectual youth, in Badlapur he played the role of a man with raw and intense emotions. Now, the audience is eagerly waiting for his first action film Baby John. This film is going to highlight a new aspect of Varun's acting, and he will be seen by the audience as an action hero.

With ‘Baby John’ Varun is set to explore an entirely new dimension in his career, further solidifying his place in the industry. This exciting new venture has the potential to become another success. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, ‘Baby John’ is slated to hit theatres on December 25. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles. Taster Cut has already generated a buzz among audiences.
