"Pushpa 2: The Rule" breaks records before release, Non-theatrical rights sold for ₹260 crore

Director Sukumar's much-awaited action thriller "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is going to release in theatres on December 5. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's film Pushpa 2 has created history even before its release. According to media reports, Pushpa 2: The Rule has done a business of crores of rupees from its non-theatrical rights, which is an extraordinary achievement for any film.

The previous film Pushpa: The Rise performed brilliantly at the box office in 2021, and since then there has been a huge excitement among the audience about Pushpa 2. Now, the record-breaking deal of the film's non-theatrical rights has brought this film into even bigger discussion. Notably, according to South Indian producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja, the non-theatrical rights of the Hindi version of Pushpa 2 alone have been sold for 260 crores. This has set a new benchmark for single and multilingual non-theatrical rights purchases in the country. This figure is definitely a topic of discussion in the film industry.

Apart from this, producer Raja has also claimed that the earnings of Pushpa 2 will surpass the collections of KGF 2 and the film is likely to be a huge success. However, only time will tell if Raja's expectations are fulfilled or not. Pushpa 2: The Rule is being considered as a bigger film than the first version. Looking at the trailer of the film and the growing excitement among the audience, the film can break many records at the box office as well as make its place as a landmark film in Indian cinema.
