Rohit Shetty responds to 'Singham 3' reviews and box office performance: 'Audience reaction matters more than critics'

Rohit Shetty's multi-starrer film Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, has proved to be a box office success. The film was released along with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and received positive reviews from the audience. However, Rohit Shetty has recently given his reaction to this. Regarding the poor reviews and low box office collection of the film, Shetty says that these things do not matter to him. The most important thing for him is the response from the audience.

Rohit Shetty has been in the film industry for more than two decades, but still he gets nervous before the release of his new films. Talking to India Today Digital, Rohit Shetty said that before the release of Singham Again, he could not sleep the whole night and was very worried. He said that he has been feeling this kind of nervousness before the release of his films since the beginning. Shetty said, "People think that I have a good idea of the likes and dislikes of the audience, but I always work honestly so that something great reaches the audience."

Rohit Shetty also said, "I cannot sleep a night before the release of the film. I remained worried till noon that day." Shetty said that he is always curious to know what the cinema hall owners and the audience are saying about the film. The views of film critics are not important to him. He said, "Film critics have their own opinion, but I like to pay attention to the reaction of those who are watching the film sitting in the cinema hall."

Rohit Shetty believes that the reaction of the audience is more important than the reviews and box office collection of the film. Singham Again has also received very negative reactions from critics. When asked how it affected him, Shetty said, "Filmmaking has been a 20-year journey. Very few times have I received good reviews. It is important for me that people like my films but it cannot be said that I don't care about critics. But one thing is for sure, it is an added bonus for me."
