Popular bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is still known for her first film. She started her acting career with Anurag Kashyap's film Gangs of Wasseypur. Recently Huma revealed that after the release of her first film, she met famous director David Dhawan, who gave her special advice.

Huma said in an interview that soon after the release of Gangs of Wasseypur, she met director David Dhawan in a coffee shop. Recalling that moment, Huma said, "I was thinking, 'Wow, David Dhawan!' and then he himself came to me. He did not need to do this, but he did." Huma further said, "He told me, 'Son, you are a very good actor. Many people will tell you to lose weight, get surgery, but don't do anything.' David Dhawan explained to Huma that the audience has accepted her the way she is and she does not need to change anything from her side. He advised her to just keep entertaining the audience.

This advice of David Dhawan had a deep impact on Huma. She said during the interview, "I liked this advice very much. When senior people of the industry meet you like this and give such advice, you note it down so that it is never forgotten." Huma also said that no one in our country is happy with their looks. She said that people always think that others have a better life. She said that no one should try to look perfect. Jokingly, Huma said that she is not at all interested in looking perfect. For her, looking perfect would be like the end of the world.
