Avinash Tiwari recalls hitting Amitabh Bachchan on the head, Says silence fell on set

Avinash Tiwari recently revealed an interesting incident in an interview, in which he mentioned a strange incident that happened while shooting an action scene of the film with Amitabh Bachchan. Avinash said that when he was working with Amitabh Bachchan, in an action scene he had to punch Amitabh. This was his first action scene and during this he accidentally punched Amitabh hard in the head, which embarrasses him even today.

Avinash said, "When I met Amitabh Bachchan for the first time, we had to shoot an action scene. I had no experience with action scenes at that time. Amitabh had to punch in the scene and I had to bend down and respond to him. But by mistake I punched him in the head. I have not been able to forget the embarrassment I felt at that time till date." He further says, "There was silence on the entire set and then I punched him again because he did not say 'cut'. I ran to him and apologized. He said, 'Yes, you have punched me in the head.' I asked him if we should rehearse it, he held his head and said, 'We will do it slowly.' He said that action is like choreography, it should be done like dance, not action."

Avinash also told how difficult his decision to make a career in acting was. He said, "I was doing engineering and one day I decided that I want to become an actor. I found this world very strange at that time and I did not like it either. I thought I would take acting training from Barry John in Delhi and then also took training at New York Film Academy. When I came back, I thought there would be a red carpet for me, but the same struggle started." Avinash Tiwari also talked about his experience after the release of his film "Laila Majnu". He said, "I struggled a lot from 2003 to 2018 and then I got the role of a hero in a film for the first time. It took three years to make this film, but on the third day of its release, the poster of the film was removed. At that time I did not know what I should do now."

However, Avinash said that his struggle continued even after the time of this film. He said, "After 15 years I got this opportunity and it ended in three days. Yet I am here today and the same film is releasing again. Earlier this year I started with 'Madgaon Express' and I am grateful for that. Now I am satisfied as an artist, but the struggle never ends."
