‘I have this punch, Make me work harder’: Abhishek Bachchan’s transformation for Shoojit Sarkar’s ‘I Want to Talk’

There is a lot of discussion about director Shoojit Sarkar's film 'I Want to Talk'. This film is the story of a person named Arjun Sen, who is diagnosed with laryngeal cancer and the doctor tells him that he has only 100 days left. Director Shoojit Sarkar shared many things about Abhishek Bachchan, who is playing the lead role in the film. In an interview with Indian Express, Shoojit said, "We were in Melbourne and he invited me for dinner. Producer Ronnie Lahiri and Abhishek Porda were also with us. I had never seen this side of Abhishek before. Abhishek was on my mind during the film. Irrfan Khan was also on my mind. We asked Abhishek in Melbourne and he said yes. Abhishek told me, 'Dada, I have this punch. You want to make me look bigger and make me work harder.'"

Shoojit also said that Abhishek wanted to work in this film. He said, "Abhishek never told me this himself, but during our conversation it was clear that he was feeling connected to this father-daughter story. He has transformed himself a lot for this film."

The story of the film is based on Arjun Sen, who is an NRI living in the US and is undergoing a major life-changing operation. Along with this, he has had a complicated relationship with his daughter since her childhood. Although the film is not very successful at the box office, its story has touched the hearts of the audience. Seeing this emotional role of Abhishek Bachchan, the audience is praising ita lot.
