Actor Sharad Kapoor accused of sexual misconduct: FIR filed, Investigation underway

Shocking news has been coming out from the entertainment world in recent times. Many celebrities have been accused of serious charges like sexual harassment. Now the name of actor Sharad Kapoor has also been added to this list, who worked with Shahrukh Khan in the film 'Josh'. A 32-year-old woman has accused Sharad Kapoor of attempting sexual abuse. The woman alleges that the actor called her to his house on the pretext of discussing professional work and then tried to misbehave.

The woman lodged a complaint at Khar Police Station on November 27. The police have registered a case against Sharad Kapoor under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and started investigation. There has been no statement from Sharad Kapoor in this matter yet. Sharad is known for films like 'Tamanna', 'Dastak', 'Trishakti', 'Josh', and 'Iski Topi Uske Sar'.

The victim said that she first met Sharad Kapoor through Facebook. The conversation started between the two and then the contact increased through video calls. During this time, Sharad expressed his desire to meet the woman and discuss a shooting project. He sent his location to the woman and asked her to come to his office in Khar. But when the woman reached there, she found that it was not the office but his house.

The woman alleged that when she reached Sharad's house on the third floor in Khar, she saw him going from the kitchen to the bedroom. Later, Sharad called her to the bedroom. When the woman reached the bedroom door, she saw Sharad sitting without clothes. The woman was shocked to see this and asked Sharad to wear clothes and talk about work.

After this, the woman alleges that Sharad tried to hug her forcefully by holding her from behind. However, the woman managed to push him away and escape from there. Khar police have registered an FIR against Sharad Kapoor under sections 74 (use of force against woman), 75 (sexual harassment), and 79 (outraging the modesty of woman) of the Indian Penal Code. The case is under investigation.
