Vikrant Massey announces indefinite break from acting, Shocking fans at the peak of his career

Vikrant Massey's acting prowess is loved by many, but now you will hardly see him on screen. At the peak of his career, he has announced his break from acting. His recently released film Sabarmati is doing great at the box office. Earlier, his performance in films like 12th Fail and Sector 36 was highly appreciated. In such a situation, it was natural to think that Vikrant would maintain his streak of success, but he has decided to say goodbye to acting. At the age of 37, Vikrant is going to retire from acting after 2025.

On Monday morning, Vikrant announced this decision, shocking his fans. Sharing a note on Instagram, he wrote, "The last few years and beyond have been amazing. I thank all of you for always supporting me. But now I realise that moving forward, it's time for me to take a step back and come home. As a husband, father and son, and also as an actor." According to reports, Vikrant is currently working on two films - 'Yaar Jigri' and 'Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan'. Talking about the upcoming projects, Vikrant wrote, "So in 2025 we will meet you for the last time. Until then, the last two films and the memories of many years. Thank you once again, for everything and everything that happened in between." Vikrant ended his note with the words 'always grateful'.

 

The announcement shocked his fans. Many expressed their disappointment in the comments. One fan wrote, "Why are you doing this...? You won't find an actor like you anywhere else. We need good cinema." Another said, "Suddenly? Is everything okay? This is so shocking. We love your acting and movies." Another comment read, "Brother, you are at the peak of your career... why do you think so?" Some people were also questioning whether this announcement was a part of any film or brand promotion.

Vikrant started his career with the TV show Dhoom Machao Dhoom. He gained recognition with Balika Vadhu in 2009, and entered the film industry with Lootera in 2013. His first lead role in A Death in the Gunj in 2017 was well received by the audience, followed by his performances in films like Ginny Weds Sunny, Haseen Dilruba, Love Hostel and 12th Fail, earning him many accolades.
