Ram Gopal Varma faces legal trouble over alleged objectionable posts against TDP leaders

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is facing legal troubles these days. He is accused of posting objectionable content on social media against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmani.

Speaking to ANI, Ram Gopal Varma said that the case is related to a tweet he made a year ago. He said that during this time he has made thousands of tweets, so he has no clear information about this particular tweet. He also said that there is no major evidence in this case and it could be a conspiracy. Ram Gopal Varma also mentioned various rumors being spread against him in the media. A case has been registered in Prakasam district on the complaint of TDP Mandal Secretary Ramalingam in this case. According to Sub Inspector Shiva Ramaiya, the case has been registered under the Information Technology (IT) Act and investigation has been started.

Earlier, the police had issued a notice to the filmmaker on November 13 and directed him to appear before the investigating officer at the Maddipadu police station. However, Ram Gopal Varma did not appear before the police and sought time for investigation.

Ram Gopal Varma is accused of posting controversial posts on social media as part of the promotion of his film Vyuham. A complaint was filed in this matter three weeks ago. Ram Gopal Varma is known in the film industry for his hit films like Rangeela, Company and Satya, which are considered important projects of his career. Now it remains to be seen what further steps are taken in this matter.
